About us
Promoting gender equality is a core activity in the European Union: equality between women and men is a fundamental EU value, an EU objective, and a driver for economic growth. Where there is an imbalance of equality, as in cases of under-empowered young women, partners have joined their efforts to address the shortfall.

What is Active Citizenship?
The LOCAL ACTION PLAN is based in Luton and involves training in the project topics. There are 2 training strands:
STRAND 1 – Training of young people aged 14-24 in the project topics of gender equality and active citizenship
STRAND 2 – Training of NGO staff, youth workers and interested individuals via the project’s special on-line course.
